Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technology make it easier and more comfortable for patients to design and create dental restorations such as porcelain crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants. Traditionally, restorations were made by taking molds of your mouth, but with computer-aided technology and intraoral cameras, our office can use a 3D image of your mouth to design and manufacture your custom restoration within a single appointment.

Digital Radiography
Traditional x-rays required film processing which took time to be printed, delivered to the office, and reviewed by dentists. Thanks to advances in technology, digital x-rays enable us to view the images on a computer screen where they can be enhanced, enlarged, and stored in a computer for easy access.

Intra-Oral Cameras
Intra-oral cameras are tiny wand-like cameras used to examine your mouth. The size allows the dentist to see inside your mouth clearly as the images can be displayed on a large screen making it easier to identify any potential concerns.

Benefits of Digital Dentistry
Digital dentistry has improved our ability to provide quality care to our patients as these advancements can help accurately identify, diagnose, and treat oral health conditions before they progress into severe stages. These forms of digital dentistry also enable us to reduce time spent in our office and provide you with a more comfortable experience while you are in our office.
